Looking for BG2EE Help (Spoiler)

I must have installed a mod that broke the Chapter 2 to 3 transition.

I go talk to Gailen and give him the 15k gold. The story and cut scenes run. But then I don't get the key to see Aran and my Journal does not update and the chapter 3 entry is blank. I am guessing that the Geomantic Sorcerer did this, but it is just a guess as I installed several new mods.

Is there a way for me to force the chapter 3 journal and get Aran's key? Gailen thinks he gave it to me if I speak to him. Note that I EEKeeper Key12 into my inventory, but Aran's door wont open (which makes me think the missing journal entry is needed or identifies that needed flags are not set).

Can I get help on how to move forward?
