How can I make Items?

I know it ruins the RP (or does it?) but I want to make Cheat Armor, basically I want to make a set of Kensai armor because walking around in short skirts is breezy. Also Mail of the Monk and Monk Leather, because breezy! I also want to make a Thief Plate for fighter thieves to go sneaking around in, and a Mage Plate for Fighter Mages. And Studded Mage Leather!

I also want to make a Ring of Quick Casting that adds +5 casting speed (making most spells instant cast) and a Troll Slaying Halberd of Wizardbane that does fire damage and dispels/breaches magic effects off the target with +3 attacks per turn.

Yes I want to cheat. But I can't figure out how to make items and can't seem to get any tools to work. I could really use a good tutorial for crafting my first time on EE.
