I've just finished the draft of my first kit. The Crusader from the 2ed Supplement "Faith & Avatars" (1996).

^ Go to the File tab and click Download. Have only tested it with BG2.
Class: Cleric.
Race: Human, Half-Elf, Elf, Dwarf.
Alignment: Any Lawful, Any Chaotic.
Advantages:
- May use the weapons and armor of a Paladin.
Disadvantages:
- Cannot Turn Undead.
Spheres:
MAJOR: All, Combat, Guardian, Healing, War and Wards.
MINOR: Protection and Necromatic.
Not Implemented as of yet:
- Same THAC0 as Fighter.
- May use spells from the sphere of Chaos if of Chaotic Alignment.
- May use spells from the sphere of Law if of Lawful Alignment.
- Access to Lighten Load spell.
- Access to Easy March spell.
- There is also a bug with Cause Serious Wounds appearing as an innate spell.
There's still alot to add to it, but I figured I'd test the waters to see what people think about the first of many kits in this vein.
My ultimate goal is the following:
- Introduction of Elemental School of Magic.
- Introduction of the Sphere system of Divine Spell casting.
- Introduction of at least 20 new spells from the "Tome of Magic" (1991) & "AD&D 2d Edition Player's Handbook" (1995), that were never added into the game.
- Introduction of the following kits, Crusader, Elven Priest (7 kits in one), Halfling Priest (6 kits in one), Gnome Priest (6 kits in one), Dwarf Priest (9 kits in one), Human Priest (9 kits in one), Demihuman Shaman, Spellsinger, Shadow Walker, Limbant, Elementalist (Aeromancer, Pyromancer, Hydromancer, Geomancer) & Witch. All are taken from various 2ed supplements and will be created strictly to the rules.
The Racial priests will have certain spells given to them depending on the alignment chosen for the character. e.g. A Neutral Good priest would be the equivalent of a Priest of Lathander, or a Chaotic Evil priest would be the equivalent of a Priest of Talos. The idea being that only Dwarves would gain access to Dwarven spells of their deities, while Elves would get Elven spells of their deities. With Half-Elves getting access to either the Elven Priest or Human Priest. And the Demihuman Shaman would be available to everyone but Humans.
- Vectorized Spell Icons, to give everything a consistent look.
There's alot to do but I'm going to space this out throughout the year. The bulk of the work will be in restructuring the spellbook. Which I've already started work on.
I attached a quick render of the 1st level Priest spells to show what I mean. They will look like the originals when they have been completely processed with the "stone button" aesthetic.
Once I get the spells roughly done, I'll ask to see which kit I mentioned I should get onto. I might need some feedback on which spells I should transfer into the game from the supplements. There's about 500 to chose from.
