Some rangers don't stay idle guarding one natural place against the hazards that comes against it. Some rangers chooses to pursuit the danger, traveling to unholy places and facing the children of the night and the defilers of earth. The Predator of Undeads is one of these rangers.

Often being employed by the church of Lathander, those rangers have some blessings from The Morninglord, relying on the powers of the sun to help its journey - as long as it proves itself worth first. The Predators doesn't need to be a devotee, but it's not uncommon to see some of them becoming a priest.

The scent of death lurks deeply in a Predator. He loses some of his connection to nature, being unable to cast spells and incapable of calming animals. Every sentient being is capable of feeling that something is odd with this ranger, turning its social relations harder in general.

However, this scent is also channeled by the Predator to aid its mission. It can learn how to shape a piece of its soul as a blade feared by the undead, how to undo the ill effects that they often delivers and even temporarily shield itself against all the powers often used by them.

Due to the nature of their jobs, the Predator never wears metal armor. It's not rare a situation were it needs to crawl, hide, stalk and pursuit. And besides this, they are nomads and needs to travel lightly. Their weapons choice is also limited - it only studies those weapons that are specially effective against the undeads.

Protection From Evil

Casts Cure Disease as a priest of the same level. Gains an use at level 2 and another every 4 levels up to three uses at level 10

Casts Remove Fear as a priest of the same level. Gains an use at level 2 and another every 4 levels up to three uses at level 10

Casts Remove Paralyze as a priest of the same level. Gains an use at level 2 and another every 4 levels up to three uses at level 10

Casts Negative Plane Protection as a priest of the same level. Gains an use at level 2 and another every 4 levels up to three uses at level 10

At lv 8 gains the ability to cast Sunscorch once per day as a druid of the same level.

At level 10 gains the ability to cast Phantom Blade once per day as a wizard of the same level. Unlike a wizard, the Predator wields this weapon as a Master.

At level 12 gains the ability to cast False Dawn once per day as a priest of the same level

At level 15 gains the ability to cast Sunray once per day as a priest of the same level

The Predator of Undeads constantly faces death during its life. This kind of experience let him endure things that other warriors would not be capable of. During 1 Round/Level it becomes immune to Charm, Fear, Hold, Energy Drain and Death Magic.

Disadvantages:

May only use Crossbow, Spears, Maces, Longswords and Axes.
Alignment restricted to Neutral Good
Can't wear metal armor
-2 Charisma penalty
No Charm Animal
Can't cast spells
