Number-keys

I have had a problem with the number keys while playing BG:EE on my MacBook Pro 13".

Problem:
They don't work anymore to select characters, and the '-' and '=' keys do not zoom in/out.
They do work in selecting text options during conversation.

Two things might have caused this:
1 I installed WeiDU
2) I installed the super ultimate portrait pack that (which is described on these fora here and can be downloaded here). This pack comes with a file that allows these portraits to show up during the character-creation as all ingame portraits do.

Repairing the game using the BG:EE-launcher fixed the issue.

Does anyone know if 1 or 2 caused this problem? When it's WeiDU, then someone with programmingskills might want to take a look and try to fix it, since it is very inconvenient during play to be unable to select characters.
