Hello guys ^^
Before anything else: English is not my native. I never had any english-language related education. Its all pure self-learning. Keep that in mind before going grammar nazi on me okey?

http://www.shsforums.net/topic/56222-bgee-mod-non-weidu-irbiss-tasty-bits-modpack/
It all started as my personal playground when i was irked by the fact that you cant wear two Evermemory rings... so i tweak it. Then i thought that actualy there are more things i want to correct. Then ive heard about many players complaining about cetrain game elements or changes... and i added them too! But the more i tweaked - the more ideas rained on me - what else i can change and tweak. This mod started out from thin air and became something bigger then i initialy thought.
Bear in mind - thats a NON WEIDU MOD! (Because i cant code in weidu)
This means that you drop the content of the mod in your Overwrite folder.
Thx to that - its also incredibly incompatibly with most mods that share the content modification with this one.
Sorry for that. If someone would be interested in coding "Tasty Bits" to WeiDU format - feel free do to just that. Just remember to actualy give credits as ive spent quite a lot of time doing all this changes and modding.
I am pre-posting all this because the modpack grown into something bigger which requaires alot of my free time. I though that maybe some positive feedback could motivate me to keep on working.
I will release it very soon. I just want to add couple of small things here and there and actualy test it to see if everythings working fine. When that'll happend - ill update this post with the download link.
As of now heres a copy/paste from the Mod Readme, for you to have a taste of things to come.
Module 1. Ring of Wizardry "Evermemory" Related
Module 1.1 - Stackable Evermemory Ring
BGEE made the Evermemory ring effect not stackable with itself. You actualy cant even wear two of them at once. This module fixes that by deleting the restriction. Now you can wear both of them.
If you think thats just two much check out 1.4
Module 1.2 - Evermemory being used by Bards
Ive noticed many people complaining about Evermemory not being used by Bards.
So yeah here it is. Now they can.
Module 1.3 - 1.1 + 1.2
Basicly the two above combined. So the rings effect stacks and they can be used by Bards.
Module 1.4 - Replace 2nd Evermemory ring with diffrent one.
Comming from the item lore ive found it a bit chesse as lore-wise only one Evermemory should exist.
Yet the game provides you with 2 of them. This module changes the 2nd ring found in Baldurs Gate city with a diffrent one, previously unobtainable. Check it out yourself - i wont spoil the fun :)
Module 2. Sandthief's Ring Related
Module 2.1 - Sandthief's Ring Original Effect
In BG2 the Sandthief Ring has one charge and can be used once every day.
For some reason this has been changed and now the ring has higher count of charges but when the ring has no charges left it vanishes. Thats stupid. 'Nuff said. This module brings back the 1charge/Day effect.
Module 2.2 - Sandthief's Ring Pre-original Effect
Well back then in the original Bg1 the Sandthief Ring also existed but was unobtainable without cheating.
Thats mostly due to the fact that the original Ring worked like Bilbo's Ring from LOTR or the Staff of Magi from BG2. Basicly it granted the wearer invisibility when it was equiped. Actions would obviously break the invisibility but nothing stoped you from re-equiping the ring again. And its kind a OP if you ask me :P still. If you are interested - have fun.
Module 3. Fammiliars Thievery Modification.
Meant mostly for people(like me) who Solo the game with Spellcasting characters but want to have a valid method of traps detection/Lockpicking. And it actualy makes those little buggers a bit helpful for once..
Module 3.1 Cat
Originaly: Hide in Shadows 65%, Stealth 65%, Pickpocket 15%, Lockpicing 0%, Traps 0%
Modified: Hide in Shadows 80%, Stealth 80%, Pickpocket 60%, Lockpicing 95%, Traps 95%
[MORE FAMS TO BE ADDED SOON]
Module 4. Druid's Ring Enhancement
The original Druid's Ring was always a dump item with little to no use. By the time the player obtain it he can slaughter preety much any regular animals already. This module changes it a bit by adding a new ability - Animal Summoning III( which can be used 1/day) and making the original Ability the same way (1 use/day)
Module 5. Cloak of the Wolf
I always though that this Cloak was a great Roleplaying idea but just badly executed. I mean imagine - being able to become a wolf, run like crazy, bite people and so on. The problem is - in wolf form the player character is just damn weak and it totaly dont scale with the game increasing difficulty. This Module is meant to fix that.
Original Effect: STR 18, DEX 17, 2 Attacks, unlimited charges.
Modified Effect: STR 19, DEX 20, 3 Attacks, Movement Speed set at 3, Base AC set at 4 and Tracking innate ability when the character is in wolf form (Wolf's Nose! :D). Now the Cape can be used 3 times per day.
Module 6. Shandalar's Cloak
I always felt about the Cloak as it would be some sort of forbiden fruit. It was mocking me.
Because regardless of how powerfull or smart my wizard would be it was never enough to actualy wear this cloak. Now its changed. But dont expect to met the requairements easly... Figure them out yourself.
And belive me. Its wourth it. You might find yourself become another Shandalar.
Module 7. Cloak of Non-Detection
Lets face it - on BG1 this is utterly wourthless. The one who keeps dispeling someones invisibility - is us.
Not the enemies. And apparently even the shopkeepers knows this, as they buy the damn piece of junk for mare 750 gold at max. I wanted to change it a bit without making the item OP. Now it grants additional +30% to Hide in Shadow. Sounds fair eh?
Module 8. Ammo Belt
Did you notice the lack of Ammo Belt in BGEE? Well i did. Now Kivan has one.
ATTENTION! THIS WILL WORK ONLY IF YOU HAVENT MET/RECRUITED HIM BEFORE
Module 9. Moonblade for everyone!
You can finaly use the Moonblade of infamous and grumpy Xan regardness of who you are.
The items stats havent been changed. AAAndd it might be considered chessy. But hey - its all up to you.
ATTENTION! THIS WILL WORK ONLY IF YOU HAVENT VISITED THE MULAHEY LAIR BEFORE!
Module 10. Ring of Energy
I always loved the idea but not the execution. Basicly you use the ring and it losses charges until the item vanishes. Now you can use it 3times/day. Nothing fancy.
Module 11. Hidden Goodies
BG1 is known for his open world and alot of exploration. But at the same time, most of the areas and places are kind a... empty. So yes, you keep checking all the areas and hidden stashes just to find... nothing. Which is kind a disapointing. This module is by far the biggest and most uncompatible with any other mods. It overwrites many creatures, areas and stashes by adding new treasures. Most of them previously unobtainable in any legit ways. So keep looking! You have a reason again :)
ATTENTION! THIS WILL WORK ONLY IF YOU START A NEW GAME!
Module 12. Doomsayer On Steroids
One of my favorite mini-boss of the game. Kickass look, unique creature. One disapointment was the lack of any loot and the enemy itself when being quite strong in original BG1, sadly became just "so-so" in BGEE with all the kits powers. This module changes that by buffing his stats and adding something extra if you manage to defeat him. Seriously - watch out. Now he is a killing machine. But well wourth it!
Module 13. Faces! Faces everywhere!
This is a nice collection of icon portraits for many NPCs in the game. Now whenever you will talk with the NPC you will also see his face on the left :) Should enhance the roleplaying a bit.
Module 14. Extended Shops
One of many problems of the whole BG saga is that - at some point, the player had hundreds of thausands of gold coins... and nothing to buy. Because even the best shops had only couple of remotly usefull items with the rest being just a spacehorder. In order to change this i added many items to previously pointless shops. Enjoy!
ATTENTION! THIS WILL WORK ONLY IF YOU HAVENT VISITED THE STORES BEFORE!
Module 15. New Content
This module consist of items, spells and other crap made by me. I tried to leave it all balanced. Bear in mind - as tried to avoid touching the game dialog.tlk file - the items lack proper descriptions. So the actual statistics of the items you have to figure out yourself... or check the TXT file in the Module folder :P
