Hi,
I need some lore info. Anyone willing to give a hand?
1) Would a temple accept prayers as payment? What I mean is the following: I want to ask to a temple to do something, and I offer praying. Would only one person praying be unsignificant? If I wanted to pay with prayers, how many people should I take to pray?
1.a Does anyone have a reference to someone talking about how praying works in D&D? I mean the fact that the praying are vital to gods or they won't survive.
2) What about converting people? Would converting people be a good deal? And how many people would be a good payment?
2.a Does the "rank" of the people getting converted matters?
2) If a helm's priest would be asked to pray for Talos, could he answer to the person asking that you are going to make him go through the path of heresy? Does the word "heretic" exists on d&D?
3) When a temple asks for a favor to a god, how "great" this favor can be? Imagine that someone came inside a temple and said, I offer you 1000k money if you help me defeating this foe. How much is too much? Would she summon a solar? I'm talking to extremes. So bear with me.
4) Can someone show me a "speech" on how the followers of the three following gods would try to turn someone to their own god? Talos - Helm - Lathander.
