Colours of Infinity: Tales of the Deep Gardens
First project of the Colours of Infinity mod series. In the mod player may visit a peculiar new world located deep under Faerun - the world of Deep Gardens, ruled by the essences known as Colours.

Colours of Infinity: Innershade
Second project of the Colours of Infinity mod series. The mod introduces a brand new village - Innershade - surrounded by forest of Tethyr. Visit that place of unusual charm and help the villagers with a creature lurking in the mines.

Southern Edge
The mod that adds a new district of Athkatla. A place with it's own tavern, merchants and most importantly, a story of a Parasite that may affect people and make them do things they would not normally do.

Eilistraee's Song
A quest mod which allows you to visit a brand new area - the Eilistraee's Clearing - and meet good drows who decided to serve someone much different to Lolth, the Spider Queen.

Will of the Wisp
A mod that allows shamans to gain a stronghold. Find Visionhive and assist it returning to its former glory. The mod also adds many new items, a new shaman kit, and Will - a joinable spectre shaman.

Skie: The Cost of One Girl's Soul
The mod allows you to continue plot started in Siege of Dragonspear in order to save Skie Silvershield in BG2. It also becomes possible to join Skie, but only if a separate component is installed and you succeed in your mission.

Colours of Infinity: Foundling
First of the two Colours of Infinity mod series NPC mods. It allows you to meet and join Foundling, the shadow master and a slave of the Shadow Dragon Bhaalspawn may meet at the Temple Ruins.

Colours of Infinity: Yvette
Second of the two Colours of Infinity mod series NPC mods. It introduces Yvette, a mysterious young girl, a cleric of Sune - the goddess of passion, art and love.

Verr'Sza (BG1)
A mod that adds a brand new companion to BG1EE and Siege of Dragonspear - a rakshasa named Verr'Sza. Will you dare to work with him? Mod includes a romance for both male and female characters.

Yoshimo Romance
In that original content expansion it becomes possible to find out more about (in)famous Yoshimo - the bounty hunter Bhaalspawn meets in Irenicus' dungeon. Mod includes talks for both male and female characters as well as a romance for female characters.

Wilson Chronicles
The mod turns a hidden BG2EE companion into a full NPC with banters, friendship talks and even some small quests. Are you ready to aid Wilson and become his beary good friend?

Skie Silvershield (from Skie: The Cost of One Girl's Soul)
The mod allows you to continue plot started in Siege of Dragonspear in order to save Skie Silvershield in BG2EE. If an additional component is installed, it becomes possible to join Skie once the girl is saved.

Petsy Chattertone
Meet Petsy, a halfling bard ready for new adventures that may inspire her and become a true heroine. Mod introduces a mod for males of short races.

White
Mod adds a human male barbarian to BG1EE names White (also known as White-as-Bones). The mod includes a romance with male characters.

La'Valygar
This small mod adds some talks for Valygar, the ranger - stalker from original Baldur's Gate 2. New talks are added for both Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal.

Quayle BG2
The mod allows you to pick Quayle over Aerie. Note that Quayle will only join the group if Aerie is lost during a small quest added by this mod.

Varshoon
The mod adds a playable illithid to BG2EE. But will he respect your commands? The mod includes a special respect-based system which will affect his behaviour in the Underdark.

Dusky for IWD:EE
The mod adds a joinable NPC for IWD:EE - Dusky, the half-orc cleric/thief. Mod was developed as an addition to Kulyok's IWD NPC Project. The mod includes a romance with male characters.

SPELLS, ITEMS, TWEAKS

Weasels!
A small mod that adds weasel-oriented spells and items for BG1EE, BG2EE and IWDEE. Because all those games really needed weasels!

LavaIt! IWDEE
This mod adds many new items for IWDEE. A fair project for those who know every inch of IWD and would like to find some new gear to put on his/her characters.

Viconia Revamped
A mod that allows player to change Viconia to a dual-classed or multi-class cleric/assassin, but not just that. It allows you change Viconia's portrait, give her a reworked Holy Symbol etc.

Note that this list includes only those project of which I am main author. I also contributed in creating many other mods, maintained some and created translations, yet I just helped there so you won't find them on this list. I also excluded mods that work only on non-EE games or are extremely outdated.

Has anyone tested the 'Save Nordom!' tweak?

Badungu created an EE version of the 'Save Nordom' tweak, which he says he tested and works just fine:

However, there's been at least one report from someone else (in the Unfinished Buisiness: Reloaded thread) that it's not working for them:
Sounds pretty good to me. Still waiting on finalized version of the mod though, also on a side note that Save Nordom tweak posted earlier doesn't work, at least not for me.
The Save Nordom tweak doesn't have its own thread here, and I currently haven't got PST:EE installed (nor the time to play so far into it that I can test it for myself) so I'm opening the floor here: has anyone installed the tweak and tested it? Does it work for you?

BG EE 2.0 and Siege of Dragonspear Compatible Mods

Version 2.0 of BG EE and the release of Siege of Dragonspear brought a lot of changes to the game engine.

Rather than creating a lot of confusion editing the original compatible mod list thread I decided it would be a better idea to create a new clean thread.

So if you have written a mod that is 2;0/SoD compatible or have tested a mod and found it to be compatible just let me know so that it can be added to the list.

The rule of no direct links stay. Give a link to the mod thread. The modder deserves full credit for his/her creation.

Sword Coast Stratagems

SCS brings hundreds of enhancements to AI in the game. ATTENTION in order to install SCS on 2.0+ you need this fix. Thanks to @subtledoctor for the fix :)

Ajantis BG1 Expansion Mod
Adds friendship dialogues for Ajantis if he is not in romance from BG1NPC Project.

Chatty Imoen
This mod expands Imoen's voice set and adds interaction banters with other NPCs. It also has a component to change Imoen's portrait to one of three choices: BG1, SoD, or BG2.

Coran's BG Extended Friendship Talks
This mod expands Coran's Friendship talk sequence.

Delainy/Durlyle Same-Sex Romance Options Mod
This is a simple mod to spawn Delainy for female PCs and/or Durlyle for male PCs..

Garrick's infatuation
"Garrick's Infatuation" allows Gorion's foster daughter to explore a closer acquaintance with her very first biographer through a series of conversations. The flirtation is available to females of any race, class, or alignment and it begins shortly after Garrick is recruited.

Hello Everyone!

A little greetings are in order. I'm Anprionsa. I've played Baldur's Gate since I was a teenager back in 99. I've played and installed the game different times on a lot of computers. I've not always used this nickname, and I didn't always comment regardless of whatever username I chose to use. But ever since I found out about modding the game many many years ago I've always played with mods. I could never mod myself, as I'm just a terrible coder with a poor imagination, but I do like organizing. The current state of mods here is amazing and I'm glad I get to play all of your hard work on what may be one of my favorite games of all time.

That said, after my recent attempt at installing through the BWS or EE Install Tool and having different websites down or having files spread out all over the place, it got me thinking about something I could do to help organize the mods in a place that I could find out if a project was updated, search, or know if it was defunct. Now I couldn't build a website and do this, but I can use existing tools on other websites to help this. What I found was that GitHub had a lot of the mods and mod authors that had re-uploaded their work there (but not all!). I didn't want to use GitHub though as I didn't want to use the same platform. So I looked through everything and put together a very crude setup on GitLab that mirrored the work of over 200 mods and tools that I have checked (though at this current juncture I didn't realize that it was all set to private and I have to go back and set it all to public) from all sorts of mod authors. This will allow me personally to see if a mod has been updated as it mirrors the authors work. No one can edit this work or change it and I don't make any claims to the mods, everything is an exact copy that updates every hour.

What I'm looking for is all of the authors that have mods on SHS (which is currently down) or Gibberling (they have a lot of the mods on GitHub) to upload them and let me know when you have so I can mirror them in this giant list of searchable content that can be used by the whole community.

I'm also not able to do this all myself, so if anyone would like to help "maintain" this list, please let me know. I come in and out of community work like this and know that I won't always be around, but would like to know if others can be involved to help.

Perhaps this is an awful idea and people won't want to have it, but I was making it for myself anyway and thought I would share it with all of you.

Hi guys... just nearing the end of my 2.3.x modded-up run of the game. Now that 2.5 has been released and I decide I want to do another playthru afterward, will I need to reinstall all mods all over again after updating?

Sidebar, is it possible to just update straight to 2.5 and continue my game "near the end" without breaking anything? Or will I have to carefully reinstall all the mods again too? (and, is there a recommended method/style to do so?)

It's been a while since I've messed around with the meta-part of this game :-)

Improved critical hit with specific weapon type?

Would it be possible to to create an ability that gave a character improved critical hit chance with a specific weapon type for example, axes?

Hi All,

Recently installed scs and rogue rebalancing mod after the 2.5 update. I got the game running, but I am having weird sound issues now. The game seemed noticeably quieter for me at first, NPCS voices etc were barely audible so I had to turn voice sound up all the way and everything else down just to hear them.

Then in battle I noticed that none of the chanting that the characters do when they cast spells was happening. And the battle itself just seemed oddly quiet. No battle music, didn't hear anyone swinging their weapons. Could just hear effects of spells, and sometimes when my characters got hit I could hear them. But overall the sound was very lacking.

Also, I was getting some of those bugs where random npcs names would be "invalid" or they would be some weirdly long piece of text from another point in the game.

I removed my override folder and reloaded and the sound worked fine and didn't notice any of those dialogue issues.

Any idea exactly what this could be?

It is worth noting that this was a game I had running already and then got updated to 2.5, so I reinstalled the game, reinstalled scs and reinstalled rogue rebalancing, and continued the game.

Who's up for some new LUA functions?

I have been working on creating some new LUA functions via hex editing for a mod I am currently working on, and it has been going very well so far. In case any of you are curious, here's the two new functions I've made so far:

Infinity_GetPCIdentifier(slot) - Gets the ID of the character in the given portrait slot. Can be used to access the characters table or in the following command...

Infinity_GetLocal(creatureID, local) - Returns the value of the given local variable on the creatureID. Can be used in conjunction with the previous command to get local values of PCs.

Currently in the works:

Infinity_SetLocal(creatureID, local, value) - Sets the value of the given local variable on the creatureID.

Here's my question to you all -
What new commands would you like to see? New UI behaviors are beyond me, but externalizing any other behavior the engine exhibits is definitely a possibility. I.E. any internal fields you would like to have access to, any existing function behaviors you would like changed.

Mod Content

- 1 new NPC with banters, interjections and talks to PC

She can be found and recruited outside of the Song of the Morning Temple by a PC of non-evil alignment at level 2 with a minimum of 2500 experience, though she will gain experience to match the PC at the moment of recruitment.

She banters with every Bioware and EE NPC at least once, talking more to good and neutral NPCs, and fourteen friendship talks planned with the option of teasing a romance. Currently there are no quests and no plans to add any.

In Siege of Dragonspear, she can be found in the Iron Throne building. She has a semi-romantic path with a PC with a minimum of 12 Charisma and any gender, alignment or race (though she will still not join evil protagonists).

Be warned that as a paladin, certain evil actions in the expansion will cause her to leave the party permanently.

Biography

When asked about her past, SIRENE averts her gaze and flatly states that there is little to say. She was orphaned and left to die as a babe, likely abandoned due to her apparent fiendish heritage. Only by luck did she survive certain death by being discovered by a travelling priest of Ilmater, who brought her to others of his faith and raised her as a Holy Warrior of Suffering, the order of paladins dedicated to the Crying God. She resents her own contradictory nature, though she is unsure of which side.

Personality

Sirene exhibits many of the typical qualities expected of a paladin; she is kind, dutiful and faithful. However, beneath her calm exterior lies a hidden temper owing to the fell blood which flows in her veins. Though she is a devoted champion of Ilmater, a past of being ostracized and persecuted by those she wishes to call her fellow men has left her unsure of her abilities and worthiness. She can be easily provoked by challenging, insulting or mocking her faith, which can be seen in her interactions with characters such as Tiax, Eldoth or even Xan, though she is also quick to acknowledge and apologize for her mistakes. She is closer to the 'good' side of her alignment rather than the 'lawful', and prefers protecting the weak to destroying evil. Because of this, she may be slightly more tolerant of evil companions, even if she can also be quite judgmental towards them. However, she will not tolerate Dorn (though they can come to an uneasy truce during Siege of Dragonspear)

Friendship & Future Romance

Sirene can be befriended by a PC of any alignment, race or statistics though she will not join evil protagonists. As she has few living friends in her life, she will be eager to befriend a PC that is willing to accept her. A PC of either gender with a Charisma of 12 or greater may flirt with her, though there is no separate romantic branch in BG:EE. In Siege of Dragonspear, there is a 'romance' of sorts, though it is significantly less romantic than the original romances.

[MOD] Artaport 3.5

Introduction

Artaport is package containing portraits made by Artrastrophe . It's dedicated only for Enhanced Edition Baldur's Gate games and future Enhanced Edition Trilogy. It includes over 100 portraits for PC installed manually and NPC portraits installed by WeiDU. If you want to have Artrastrophe portraits in BG1/BG2/BGT/Tutu, then check LavaDelVortel PaintBG mod. There's also portraits preview.

Installation

1) If you want to use portraits for PC you need to copy-paste folder "portraits" into either C:\Users\user\Documents\Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition
or
C:\Users\user\Documents\Baldur's Gate II - Enhanced Edition
Last 8 male and 2 female portraits (those with exclamation mark) was used by me for components 4) and 5) described below. If you don't use them, feel free to use those portraits for you own PC. But if so, don't be surprised when you will meet you own doppelganger!

2) If you want to change NPC portraits then simply unzip folder "artaport" + "setup-Artaport.exe" into one of the Enhanced Edition game folder (the one with chitin.key) and run "setup-Artaport.exe". You can chose which components you want. To uninstall run "setup-PaintBG.exe" again and select the uninstall option. This mod covers some changes made by one of the most famous and mandatory mod for BGII:EE - Unfinished Business 2 (Baldur's Gate II) and it needs to be installed after it.

Components

1) Change portraits in BGI:EE - it replaces all NPC and default PC portraits in Baldur's Gate I: Enhanced Edition.

2) Change portraits in SoD - it replaces all NPC and default PC portraits in Baldur's Gate I: Siege of Dragonspear.

3) Change portraits in BG2:EE - it replaces all NPC and default PC portraits in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition.

4) Add portraits to non-joinable NPCs in BG1:EE - it adds portraits in dialogue box to 14 plot-important, non-joinable NPCs

5) Add portraits to non-joinable NPCs in BG2:EE - it adds portraits in dialogue box to plot-important, non-joinable NPCs. So far only 2 NPCs had them. This component adds them to 11 more.

6) Restore BG1:EE NPC portraits - it restores portraits for non-joinable NPCs in BG2:EE known from BG1:EE.

7) Add portrait to Edwina - component made by Wendy Yung (cliffette) for Tweaks Antology (previously BG2 Tweaks). It changes Edwin portrait for female one during his quest.

Notes

Current version of this mod doesn't have portraits for plot NPCs in Siege of Dragonspear and Wilson NPC from Baldur's Gate II. If Artastrophe will create them, then they will be added here. If you want to support her and accelerate process of making those portraits, feel free to order commissions.

The Tweaks Anthology is a WeiDU compilation of fixes, cosmetic changes, and tweaks that will run on every Infinity Engine game, from the original Planescape:Torment, through the Icewind Dale and Baldur's Gate series, and the new Enhanced Editions of the games. The successor to BG2 Tweaks and several other tweak packs, some of these were fan requests, others are needed fixes, and others simply make dealing with the more irritating aspects of the game engine easier. Each component can be installed separately so the player can pick and choose only which ones they wish to install. Version 5 includes several new components (Death Cam, NPCs Cannot Pass Doors, Start New Games with Party AI Turned Off, No Depreciation in Stores, Disable Romances, and Accelerate/Decelerate Romances), updated French and Chinese translations from Isaya and Angel respectively, and many bug fixes.

Version 5 Changelog

  • Various components would fail to install on IWD2 since the underlying macros could fail for non-BG2 resources.
  • Another run has been made to get all options of Adjust Cromwell's Forging Time to work for all platforms.
  • The level 2/1 and 4/3 versions of Khalid in Make Khalid a Fighter-Mage (Domi) have been bumped slightly to bring his hit points in line with the other versions
  • Disable Non-Hostile Rest Spawns and Alter Hostile Rest Spawns will no longer fail on areas that lack rest spawn info.
  • Updated the Simplified Chinese translation, thanks to c4_angel!
  • Updated the French translation, courtesy of Isaya
  • Reputation Resets at Beginning of BG2 is no longer an option for EET games, as this is already the default for EET

  • The greater werewolf form in Shapeshifter Rebalancing now receives the promised base THAC0 of 6
  • Various components, especially in the rules section, were being made available for IWD2 games even though they did not apply

Rogue Rebalancing 4.92, how to install with no installer?

I have version 4.9 of RR mod, but I would like to use the newest version, 4.92 with 2.5. As the old SHS links are down for a few months it seems and not coming back, I found the files on github for 4.92, but there is no installer.

Can someone walk me through how to install this mod without the installer? Can I just copy the RR folder into my game from github and use the old installer that came with 4.9?

I am not so savvy on the mod mechanics, so thanks for any insights.

So, I have delved into the classic Refinements mod, hacked it up, and made separate components for each class. In the hopes that it will be easier to combine with other mods that change HLAs, like Rogue Rebalancing and Faiths & Powers.

I have massaged the code until it installs on BG2EE, and it seems to install fine. I have NOT extensively playtested it. So, I will give you guys the link and you can do the playtesting! :wink:

Update to 0.3 0.4 0.5 0.6 0.8 0.10! It includes:
- install HLAs on a class-by-class basis
- patches HLA tables instead of overwriting them
- patches HLA tables of mod kits in addition to base kits
- specific compatibility with RR HLAs and simplified install order (RR, then Refinements)
- the Sword Angel works in EE games

I'm wanting to get back into it... I finished a completionist, no-reload of BG and BGII in August 2015 and haven't played since.

So, my disk drive isn't working, meaning I can't use my heavily modded BG Tutu and BGII SoA/ToB games. Until I can get a new disk or laptop... a priority, I guess I'll play BGEE/BGIIEE. I've had them since they came out but never really played them, preferring my own, personally modded versions.

So, I need help. I see the modding posts, but can't find the single repository of all mods available, to date, for BGEE and BGEEII. Can someone point me to them?

Also, I assume I can use the BGT install guide/order is also relevant to EE mods?

Just uploaded a v5 release candidate for v5 to Github, and I'd love some of you folks to take it for a spin and see what I've broken. Download v5 release candidate 1: Translators, I do not anticipate any further changes to the tra files, so feel free to work with the RC if you want to be ready for v5.
